Getting Started Kit Assembly

Intro

The purpose of this work instruction is to explain the assembly process for the LumenPnP Getting Started Kit

Preparing Universal PCB Fixture System

  1. Obtain materials shown here

  2. Remove supports from 4x board-mount-dynamic

  3. Clean up remaining support materials with flush cutters if necessary

  4. Insert M3x10-hex-head through the channel in board-mount-dynamic, then affix M3-wing-nut onto the screw. The screw should be able to move through the entire channel without resistance

  5. Repeat for 4x board-mount-dynamic

  6. Insert M3x10-hex-head through the channel in board-mount-static, then affix M3-wing-nut onto the screw. The screw should be able to move through the entire channel without resistance

  7. Repeat for 4x board-mount-static

  8. Insert 4x assembled board-mount-static into 4x6-anti-static-bag

  9. Insert 4x assembled board-mount-dynamic into 4x6-anti-static-bag

  10. Insert 8x board-support into 4x6-anti-static-bag

  11. Seal 4x6-anti-static-bag

Preparing Component Bag

  1. Obtain the resistors and a 3x4 bag

  2. Obtain 450 resistors by cutting the tape to 1.8m lengths

  3. Coil the component tape and pack it into the 3x4 bag

  4. Seal 3x4 bag

Assembling Bagged-FTP-PCB

  1. Gather materials shown

  2. Insert ftp-pcb and Opulo Logo Sticker into 4x6-anti-static-bag, then seal the bag

Obtain 8mm-strip-feeder-kit

  1. If any are available, obtain 8mm-strip-feeder-kit

Note

If none are available, instructions can be found here
